ReadyForge A Lemcoe Education platform
Hardware

You already own most of the gear.

ReadyForge is an appliance, not a computer lab. It brings the box and the camera; you bring a projector and the iPad already in your bag. The whole install is two power cables and one short HDMI — no new laptop, no IT ticket, no surprise Windows updates.

  • 0IT tickets
  • 0Windows updates
The entire install

Three cables. Everything else is wireless.

The appliance broadcasts its own Wi-Fi, so your iPad, iPhone, or laptop join over the air — nothing plugged in. The only physical wires are power to the appliance, power to the projector, and one short HDMI between them.

In your package

We bring the smart part.

  • The appliance

A mini-PC or Raspberry Pi running ReadyForge. It boots straight into the projector view and broadcasts its own private Wi-Fi.

  • The bundled camera

The hit-detection camera, pre-paired to the appliance. Clips on, points downrange, and it just works — no driver disc, no install.

  • Ready-to-run software

Scenarios, drills, and the two-screen runtime are already on the box. Plug in and go — nothing to download or license online.

You already own it

You bring what’s on hand.

  • A projector

Any HD projector with an HDMI input. Short-throw works beautifully in a tight classroom.

  • Your iPad or iPhone

The instructor control surface runs in the browser — join by scanning a QR code. No app to install, no laptop to buy.

  • A training laser

Compatible with any training laser you already own — laser pistols or cartridges. No vendor lock-in.

Why it’s different

None of the headaches of a PC-based sim.

Most simulators are a Windows PC in a costume — which means everything a Windows PC drags along. ReadyForge is a sealed appliance, so the whole category of IT pain simply doesn’t apply.

  ReadyForge Typical PC-based sim
Cables to manage 3 — two power, one short HDMI 8–10 plus adapters & a switch
A new computer to buy None — use the iPad/phone you own A dedicated Windows laptop or PC
Software updates A controlled appliance image, on your schedule Random Windows updates mid-class
IT department Never involved Tickets, imaging, domain join
Logins & accounts None User accounts & passwords
Internet required No — its own private Wi-Fi Often, for licensing & updates
Setup time Minutes A morning — and a call to IT
Portability Fits a case; works anywhere A cart, a rats-nest, a dedicated room
Setup, start to finish

From the case to “go” in minutes.

  1. 1

    Power on the appliance

It boots straight into the projector view — no desktop, no login.

  2. 2

    Connect the projector by HDMI

One short cable. That, plus the two power leads, is the entire wiring job.

  3. 3

Scan the QR on your iPad

It joins the box’s private Wi-Fi and opens the instructor control surface in the browser.

  4. 4

Pick a scenario and run it

Start, stop, reset, and score from your hand. You’re training in under five minutes.

Packs up. Travels. Works anywhere with a private network.

No fixed install, no wiring closet. The box, the camera, and your tablet drop into a case and set up in a classroom, a range bay, or a hotel conference room — wherever the next class is.
